WATCH: Hatchlings of ‘The Angry Birds Movie’ greet for Mother’s Day

In time for the Mother’s Day celebration this Sunday, May 8, Columbia Pictures has shared a special message from the hatchlings of “The Angry Birds Movie.” Watch the clip below.

In the 3D animated comedy, “The Angry Birds Movie,” we’ll finally find out why the birds are so angry.

The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds – or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.

Featuring a hilarious, all-star voice cast that includes Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph and Peter Dinklage, as well as Keegan-Michael Key, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, Ike Barinholtz, Hannibal Buress, Jillian Bell, Danielle Brooks, Latin music sensation Romeo Santos, and YouTube stars Smosh (Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla), the Columbia Pictures/Rovio Entertainment film is directed by Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis, produced by John Cohen and Catherine Winder, screenplay by Jon Vitti, and executive produced by Mikael Hed and David Maisel.

Opening across the Philippines on May 11, 2016, “The Angry Birds Movie” is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.

Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to cinemas this summer in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell).

After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.

“Earth to Echo” filmmaker Dave Green directs from a script by Josh Appelbaum & André Nemec. The producers are Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Galen Walker and Scott Mednick.

Opening across the Philippines on June 1, 2016, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” is distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.
