Regular ticket price is 150 pesos. Seats are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Located at 160 Luna Mencias St. Brgy. Addition Hills, San Juan del Monte, Cinema ’76 is a micro-cinema dedicated to bringing the latest Filipino independent films as well as English and foreign-language films to its discriminating movie audience. Its setup is akin to a home theater with couches and throw pillows. While food and drinks are not allowed on the couches, they can be consumed by the bars at the back area of the cinema.

Cara Delavingne, Dane DeHaan star in high-speed sci-fi action film ‘Valerian’

“Valerian” also known as “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” is the visually captivating new movie from renowned film maker Luc Besson the legendary director of “The Fifth Element” and “Lucy” starring Cara Delevingne and Dane Dehaan as the unlikely duo tasked to protect the galaxy.

Set in the 28th century, Valerian (Dane DeHann) and Laureline (Cara Delavigne) are special operatives charged by the Minister of Defense with keeping order throughout the human territories. They are tasked with protecting the intergalactic planet Alpha who after years of prosperity is attacked by an unknown threat.

The movie is based on the groundbreaking French science fiction comic novels “Valerian and Laureline” written by Pierre Christin and illustrated by Jean-Claude Mézières. It was first published in 1967 and has since inspired a generation of writers, artists and film makers.

The film stars, Dane DeHann, Cara Delavigne, Clive Owen, Ethan Hawk and Rihanna. It is also written and produced by Luc Besson.

“Valerian” opens July 21, 2017 in cinemas nationwide from Pioneer Films.

‘Jurassic World’ sequel gets new title, teaser poster

Universal Pictures has just launched the teaser poster for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster hit, Jurassic World.

The poster sports the tagline, “Life finds a way.”

Directed by J.A. Bayona (Mama, The Impossible), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens in the Philippines in June 2018 and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeff Goldblum, Toby Jones, James Cromwell, BD Wong, and Rafe Spall.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is distributed in the Philippines by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.
