One project after another: Meet Tiktok superstar Yukii Takahashi

Tiktok superstar Yukii Takahashi with millions of followers has crossed to other different platforms as she continues to make her own name in the Philippine showbiz industry.

Since her first-ever onstage performance and TV appearance on television via “Sunday Noontime Live!”, she had a long journey already on television and online media.

During a solo media conference held for her by Cornerstone Entertainment this June 6, Yukki gladly announced that she is now a mainstay in the hit primetime series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.

“Meron po akong gustong i-share sa inyo na — regular na po ako do’n! At first, guesting lang talaga. I’m very, very grateful and sobrang laki po ng pasasalamat ko na naging regular na ako sa show na yon.”

Looking back at where she started, Yukii beamed a smile in recalling how Tiktok paved her way to showbiz.

She narrated, “Yung buhay po namin ay simple lang. Lumaki yung mga magulang ko sa Tondo. I’m very like a normal kid naman po talaga. I started on Tiktok noong March 15, 2021 — alam na alam ko po… Yung reason ko po for dancing on Tiktok [was] just to lose weight kasi medyo lumaki ako [noon] dahil kain ako nang kain noong pandemic.

“Yung sa acting naman po, it’s really my dream to act,” she added. “Sobrang thankful po ako sa Cornerstone and for all of the blessings na nangyayari ngayon dahil natutupad na yung pangarap ko po.”

In the Coco Martin-starrer action drama series, she plays the character of Camille (the romantic interest of McCoy De Leon’s character).

Online, she is seen as the leading lady of Wilbert Ross in Puregold’s digital series “Ang Lalaki Sa Likod Ng Profile.”
