As the brand’s ambassador, Kim Chiu was present during the launch of Hairfix Professional Line with an exclusive Meet and Greet in Quezon City on September 28, hosted by Ms. Tracy Manlangit. The occasion was also joined by renowned personalities, including mom influencer Kris Lumagui, dermatologist Dra. Bea Chan, and Tiktok influencer Dior Veneracion.

Following the launch event, Kim and the Hairfix team headed to a cafe for a press conference. Check out these snaps from the event.

When asked about how she maintains the smoothness of his hair, Kim Chiu has a lot to say about taking good care of our crowning glory based on her own experience.

“Ako naman, sobrang thankful ako dahil meron akong Chinese blood. So pag [may] Chinese blood k’a, sobrang straight talaga ng hair mo na bagsak. Yun ang buhok ko [on] a normal day. So with the help of Hairfix, lahat fini-fix niya when it comes to hair.

“Kaya gumagamit ako ng mga keratin shampoo, tapos weekly ako naghi-hair treatment, kasi parang every day sa Showtime, iba-iba yung hairstyle. With all the hair product na nilalagay sa buhok, importante rin talaga na mag-hair treatment.

“Napansin ko rin na hindi maganda na araw-araw mag-conditioner ka. Every other day, nagku-conditioner ako, pero every day kailangan i-wash talaga yung hair para maiwasan yung pag-stay ng mga product sa hair and maiwasan yung dandruff.

“Iwasan din pag nagsha-shampoo, hindi ididiretso sa anit, sa taas, dapat sa ilalim muna hanggang sa pataas siya. Kasi pag dito agad, medyo tinatawag tayo ng bumbunan natin. Dapat sa ilalim mag-i-start pag nagsha-shampoo para hindi masyado matapang agad sa scalp, para hindi makalbo sa taas agad.”

Kim Chiu also talked about the positive feedback of audiences on her upcoming Prime Video series ‘Linlang,’ which also stars the Diamond Star Ms. Maricel Soriano, JM De Guzman, and Paulo Avelino. “They’re happy for my growth as an actor. Kinilig talaga ‘ko!”

On another hand, on getting slapped by Maricel, the young actress shared, “Pangarap ko po ‘to bilang artista!… Sobrang love ko si Ms. Maricel, sobra siyang nice and very down-to-earth.”
