This year’s edition of International Film Festival Manhattan (IFFM), helmed by Filipino-American Luis Pedron as its Festival Director, is going online through streaming platform iWantTFC this October 16-22, following the success of its physical leg from October 12 to 15 at various theaters in Manhattan, a city known for its vibrancy and cultural diversity.

IFFM is a premier event showcasing exceptional short films. Held annually in the heart of Manhattan, New York City, USA, this year marked its 13th edition.

Its short film programming covers a wide array of genres, including documentaries, student films, and now, professional films from across the globe, all united by their themes of social relevance.

In an exciting first for 2023, selected IFFM short film entries will be available for online streaming exclusively through iWantTFC, the streaming app by ABS-CBN, in partnership with Rems Entertainment Production, led by CEO Gabby Ramos. This exclusive screening period will take place from October 16 to 22, 2023.

Among the submissions, three short films from the Philippines were selected: “Protected Hill” by Dexter Macaraeg, “In Heaven’s Eyes” by Harold Jay Silla, and “Love Yourself” by Miguel Antonio Sonza.

Participating countries for this online streaming event include the USA, Italy, Ukraine, Australia, France, Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, Romania, Indonesia, and China.
