Jak Roberto launches JCool, JCoal under his men’s skincare, personal care brand

‘Professor’ Jak Roberto (coming from the Anti-Silos trend) launches his new business, JC Essentials, a men’s skincare and personal care brand. This is a dream come true for the Kapuso star before turning 30 in December.

His skincare products include JCool masculine wash in two variants (Fresh & Active), as well as JCoal gluta charcoal soap for cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing — both of which represent his commitment to quality.

During his solo interview with CinemaBravo, he related his enthusiasm and relief in launching his new business venture.

“We’re so happy, we feel blessed ngayong araw na ‘to dahil sobrang naitawid namin lahat ng challenges and efforts na ginawa namin. Sobrang deserved lahat ng nangyari ngayon. Sobrang successful.”

He also shared how they started. “Nagsimula kasi itong business namin na ‘to parang four months nung f-in-ormulate namin siya. Nag-start muna kami sa pag-create ng branding, ng brand line, paggawa ng logo and packaging…”

Their branding rooted from the need to have separate soaps for the different needs of different body parts.

“…Isang sabon lang palagi kami [sa buong katawan], so parang na-realize ko, mag-create ng product for men — sa ngayon. Pero later on, tina-tap din namin yung women [market] para naman sa mga product na makakatulong din sa kanilang daily skin care.”

As the President and CEO of JC Essentials, Jak Roberto wants to extend his heartfelt gratitude for the public’s interest in his brand, especially as they embark on this exciting journey as a new business.
