Synopsis: Set against the backdrop of pandemic and post-pandemic times, amidst the bustling Manilan piers, “Haligi” portrays the lives of four family leaders, grappling with a common challenge faced by many fathers: how to secure a good life for their loved ones, teetering on the edge of life and death. These four fathers confront crises related to food, finance, health, and their family’s emotional well-being, prompting a profound reconsideration of their priorities and their ultimate source of trust.
“Haligi” unravels the story of fathers, affectionately referred to as “Haligi ng Tahanan” (Pillars of the Household) in Filipino.
A stellar cast, including Victor Neri, Christopher Roxas, Richard Quan, and Dex Castro, who are also members of Iglesia ni Cristo, breathes life into the interconnected tales of four diverse yet strikingly similar family heads as they confront life’s trials.
Complementing this talented cast are Sheila Marie Rodriguez, Regine Angeles, Daisy Gigante, Ar Angel Aviles, Jenna Glezia Balon, Shane Patrick Cabrera, Arwela Llubit, Gem Yra Boragay, Genwin Emerald Mallari, Prince Sanjie Amplayo, Ruslan Jacon Asombrado, and numerous other gifted individuals.
