Shopee honors partners in first-ever Super Awards

Shopee, the nation’s leading e-commerce platform, recently marked a significant milestone with its inaugural Shopee Super Awards. This event, dedicated to expressing gratitude and acknowledgment, commemorated the journey of esteemed partners on the platform. It emphasized Shopee’s unwavering commitment to fostering enduring collaborations with brands, sellers, creators, and industry partners, all geared towards achieving shared success.

Vincent Lee, Head of Shopee Philippines, highlighted the event’s significance, stating, “The inaugural Super Awards in the Philippines underscores our joint dedication to delivering exceptional user experiences. It is our way of expressing gratitude to partners who have journeyed with us. As a driving force behind our platform’s success, we are committed to strengthening these collaborations and forming additional partnerships to reach even more remarkable milestones together.”

The awards ceremony showcased Shopee’s diverse array of partners, recognizing their contributions to Shopee’s growth over the years. Categories encompassed growth, innovation, and community impact, spotlighting the multifaceted collaboration between Shopee and its partners for shared achievements. Notable awardees included Metrobank (Bank Partner of the Year), GMA Kapuso Foundation (Charity Partner of the Year), Michelle Dy (Content Creator of the Year), and Dianne Medina (Stellar Livestreamer of the Year). Special award recipients were treated to roundtrip flight tickets from Cebu Pacific.

One of the night’s top awardees was retail company INSPI, named Brand Partner of the Year. After joining the platform in 2018, they emerged as one of Shopee’s top apparel brands, competing successfully with major local brands during the pandemic. INSPI’s CEO, Kenny Tsai, praised Shopee for enabling their business to thrive in the digital marketplace, citing the platform’s user-friendly design, expansive reach, and effective marketing tools.

Seller of the Year JG Superstore, owned by Oliver and Jill Tan, achieved remarkable success after transitioning their business online.
