Following its acclaimed debut in Filipino theater in 2023, Teatrong Mulat ng Pilipinas proudly restages “Prinsipe Bahaghari,” a poignant Filipino interpretation of the timeless classic, The Little Prince. Experience this evocative rendition at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater, Circuit Makati, from January 19-21 and 26-28, 2024.

“Prinsipe Bahaghari” masterfully weaves the essence of Filipino culture into Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved tale. Join the Rainbow Prince on a heartfelt quest to find companionship for his cherished Gumamela flower, navigating encounters with diverse characters and forging an enduring bond with the Storyteller.

Celebrating Filipino heritage, myths, and language, this adaptation offers a deeply immersive experience. Crafted with authentic materials like rattan and local resources, the production remains true to its cultural roots.

Vladimeir Gonzales captures the sentiment, stating, “Our narrative draws from shared Filipino experiences, exploring growth, environmental stewardship, and the myriad facets of love.”

Since its directorial debut by Aina Ramolete, “Prinsipe Bahaghari” has earned accolades globally, including recognition at The Red Curtain International’s Good Theatre Festival for Young Audiences in India.

Behind this restaging lies a talented ensemble, including visionaries like Vladimeir Gonzales and Aina Ramolete.
