In anticipation of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference beginning on February 20, the PLDT High-Speed Hitters showcase a formidable team led by former MVPs Kianna Dy, Majoy Baron, and Kim Fajardo. The addition of scoring sensation Savannah Davison and newly appointed skipper Kath Arado signals a commitment to clinching the team’s first PVL title.



The trio of Dy, Baron, and Fajardo, with their impressive collegiate achievements, headlines the team, boasting a collective wealth of experience and accolades. Joining forces after successful stints with the De La Salle University Lady Spikers, they aim to bring their winning tradition to the PVL.
Savannah Davison, the top scorer in her rookie PVL season, emerges as a significant asset, contributing 202 points through a combination of attacks, blocks, and service aces. With a background in NCAA Division 1 competition in the US and academic accomplishments, Davison adds a dynamic element to the team.
Kath Arado, a three-time PVL Best Libero, takes on the role of captain, leading a lineup that includes seasoned players like Mika Reyes, Dell Palomata, and UAAP champions Rhea Dimaculangan and Jules Samonte. The roster, filled with talent from various competitions, promises a strong defensive foundation.

Jude Turcuato, Head of Sports at PLDT and Smart, expresses excitement for the upcoming season, emphasizing support for the High-Speed Hitters and a thrilling experience for fans. The coaching staff, led by champions Rald Ricafort and Arnold Laniog, ensures a strategic approach, while Paolo Escaño oversees the team’s strength and conditioning.
The PLDT High-Speed Hitters, with a mission to elevate Filipino volleyball on the international stage, recently paid a courtesy visit to PLDT headquarters, engaging with President/CEO Manny Pangilinan. Pangilinan expressed pride in the team’s achievements and reiterated the company’s commitment to promoting Filipino athletes globally.

In a unique pre-season initiative, the team interacted with PLDT and Smart employees, fostering community engagement and building anticipation for the upcoming volleyball season.
