First-ever Blvck Scriptwriting Contest announces Top 10 finalists

The Blvck Scriptwriting Contest has unveiled its top 10 finalists, celebrating the remarkable talents of Filipino writer by igniting creativity and recognizing outstanding talent in the Filipino scriptwriting community.

With the theme “Crafting Dreams, Creating New Cinema for Filipinos,” the contest, which drew over 150 entries, aims to bring fresh, inspiring narratives to the forefront of the industry.

Prizes and awarding

The contest called for submissions starting in April, inviting all Filipino professional and non-professional writers to submit stories that reflect the life and culture of Filipinos across any genre, including comedy, drama, suspense, and horror.

Here are the prizes which will be awarded during a special ceremony at Teatrino in Greenhills, San Juan.

  • 1st Prize: PHP 100,000
  • 2nd Prize: PHP 50,000
  • 3rd Prize: PHP 30,000
  • 10 Consolation Prizes: PHP 10,000 each

The Top 3 winners of Blvck Scriptwriting Contest will be produced by Blvck Films and Blvck Entertainment.
