Two more sexy films are set to drop this August on the Vivamax app and website: ‘Ang Kapitbahay’ on August 23 and ‘Private Tutor’ on August 27.

Private Tutor

During the joint media conference for the two titles, the female leads of ‘Private Tutor,’ Christy Imperial and Zsara Laxamana, shared their filming experiences, using phrases like ‘Super lala!’ and ‘Ang cringey!’—much to the surprise of the audience.

Christy Imperial explained, “Actually, ito po yung pinaka-first time ko na sobrang lala ng scenes… Dati naman po sa mga last na movie ko, more on kissing lang po. Ito talaga, may sex talaga siya… Ito yung first time namin actually, lalo na si Zsara. So parang, masasabi ko, super lala nung [pagka-sexy] namin dito, super sexy! Siguro 1000 over 10?”

“Actually, this is my first time doing such intense scenes… In my previous movies, it was mostly kissing. But this one, there’s actual sex… This is our first time, especially for Zsara. So I can say, our level of [sexiness] here is super intense, super sexy! Maybe 1000 over 10?”

Zsara Laxamana added, “Actually, totoo po. Sabi ko nga kay Direk, sa sobrang lala… ‘Direk, pwedeng sa lalaki ko na lang gawin ‘to kasi dito ko na-feel… na ‘A, babae pala talaga ‘ko, kasi naki-cringe ako sa ginagawa—Sabi ko, ‘O, my god! Direk, seryoso ba? Totoo ba, gagawin ba namin ‘to?”

“Honestly, it’s true. I even told Direk, ‘This is so intense… Direk, can I just do this with a guy? Because this made me realize… ‘Oh, I’m really a woman because I cringe at what I’m doing.’ I was like, ‘Oh my god! Direk, are we serious? Are we really going to do this?’”

Kasi nung una po, dinaya namin ni Christy. Tini-take ni Direk. Ta’s lumapit si Direk, sabi niya, ‘Halata e! Pwede bang gawin n’yong totoo?’ Ta’s nagtinginan kami ni Christy. Sabi niya, ‘Ako, Direk, kaya ko, ewan ko lang sa kanya. Kung di niya kaya, dayain na lang namin.’ E di siyempre, di ba, magpapatalo ba ‘ko? E di go! Ahaha!”

“At first, Christy and I tried to fake it. Direk was filming, then he came over and said, ‘It’s obvious! Can you do it for real?’ Christy and I looked at each other. She said, ‘I can do it, Direk, but I don’t know about her. If she can’t, we’ll just fake it.’ Of course, I wasn’t going to back down! So I said, ‘Go!’ Ahaha!”

Lala to the point na never, kahit sa totoong buhay, never ko po talagang ginawa ‘to. Lala to the point na, ‘Shit, ang lala, ang lala po talaga!’ Sabi ko nga, ‘Direk, hindi kita makakalimutan. Sa ‘yo lang ako pumayag na gawin ‘to. Grabe ka, Direk!’

“It’s so intense that I’ve never, not even in real life, done anything like this. It’s so intense that I was like, ‘Shit, this is really intense!’ I even told Direk, ‘I’ll never forget you. You’re the only one I agreed to do this with. You’re unbelievable, Direk!’”

Their director, Ryan Evangelista, shared, “Yes po, as much as we tried to actually maging daring at maging bolder dito… yung character ni Zsara, para at least kahit papaano mabigyan naman po ng bagong flavor ika nga nila yung pelikula.”

“Yes, as much as we tried to be daring and bolder here… Zsara’s character, to at least give the film a new flavor as they say.”

Also present during the media conference for ‘Private Tutor’ were cast members Mark Dionisio and VJ Vera, along with their writer Randy Villanueva.

‘Private Tutor’ is the latest erotic–drama Vivamax Original Movie about a struggling teacher who finds an escape and discovers something new about herself as she becomes a tutor to a sexually curious student. 

Joy (Zsara Laxamana) is a public school teacher who works hard to support herself and her family. She is in a committed relationship with Vigo (VJ Vera), a mechanic. To earn more money, Joy decides to work as a part-time private tutor and signs up on a tutoring app. She gets hired to tutor a senior high student named Erica (Christy Imperial). 

Joy begins tutoring Erica, and they form an unexpectedly strong bond. Joy also meets Erica’s father, Gordon (Mark Dionisio), a wealthy and widowed businessman.  

As their private lessons continue, Erica, who is open to exploring her sexuality, can’t contain herself and makes advances on Joy, which Joy finds unusual at first. Gordon also shows interest in Joy and tries to seduce her, but Joy declines. 

A conflict happens between Joy and Vigo, which makes Joy rebel against her boyfriend and give in to Gordon’s lustful desire. And soon after, Joy also indulges herself in a new kind of lustful desire with Erica.

Ang Kapitbahay

The lead actress of ‘Ang Kapitbahay,’ Christine Bermas, was not available for the media conference, but her co-stars and director had nothing but praise for her.

Clifford Pusing said, “Naka-work ko si Christine Bermas first time [dito]. Napapanood ko na talaga siya sa Vivamax bago ako sumabak sa Vivamax. Sabi ko, ‘Vivamax crush ko ‘to, ha?’… Tapos, nagulat ako, may project na bago, ka-partner ko siya. Mabait siya, hindi siya maarte. Makulit, basta napaka-down-to-earth niya.”

“This was my first time working with Christine Bermas. I had been watching her on Vivamax before I joined Vivamax. I said, ‘She’s my Vivamax crush!’… Then, I was surprised when I got a new project and she was my partner. She’s kind, not fussy. Playful, and very down-to-earth.”

Chester Grecia commended her acting skills: “Acting-wise, talagang magaling si Miss Christine Bermas. Yun lang talaga ang masasabi ko sa kanya. Well, sa love scene, maayos yung love scene namin, and we approached it professionally… Yung acting talaga niya, magaling.”

“Acting-wise, Miss Christine Bermas is really good. That’s all I can say about her. Well, our love scene was well done, and we approached it professionally… Her acting is really good.”

Their director, Rodante Pajemna Jr., seconded, “Isa siguro sa pinaka-professional na artistang nakatrabaho ko: Tama si Chester, magaling siyang artista. Actually, she can cross over e, sa mainstream, kasi may lalim siya. Magaling na artista si Christine.”

“She’s probably one of the most professional artists I’ve worked with. Chester is right; she’s a great actress. Actually, she can cross over into mainstream because she has depth. Christine is an excellent actress.”

It tells the story of Alex (Clifford Pusing), a young man who falls for the alluring beauty of a woman, Rose (Christine Bermas), who moves in nearby.
