Chavit Singson announces that he will run for Senator in the 2025 elections.
At an event for the League of Mayors of the Philippines in Clark, Pampanga, today, August 21, Former Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson has officially announced that he has decided to run for senator.
“This is my first time to confirm publicly na tatakbo na akong senator on your support,” Chavit said in his speech at the event. “Para ipakita natin na makapanalo naman kayo ng senador, all the mayors. Ibig sabihin niyan, ako na ang utusan ninyo sa senado — kung papalarin.”
The announcement was welcomed with jubilation as his friends and supporters welcomed his move to return to politics.
