My Resignation Love is quickly becoming a hit online, with over three million combined views on Facebook and YouTube. This new office romance series stars Julia Bolos and Caine Domingo, who have appeared in the hit “Expecially for You” segment of noontime show It’s Showtime

Directed by former ABS-CBN employee Job Mondigo and written by Wilhelm Ramirez, the series offers a fresh take on love and career dilemmas faced by young professionals. It was produced by Superstar Multi Network Channel (Superstar MCN), a startup company managing influencers and brands.

The plot of My Resignation Love dives into the conflicts and emotional struggles that come with workplace relationships. Julia Bolos portrays Alice, a young woman navigating the difficult balance between love and career. For Julia, the role felt natural and easy to play.

“Tbh, wala naman po akong challenges and since di naman gano’n kabigat yung mga scene. Also, gusto ko rin naman yung role ko kaya na-enjoy ko po yung pag-act as Alice,” said Julia.

(To be honest, I didn’t really face any challenges since the scenes weren’t that heavy. Also, I really liked my role, so I enjoyed playing Alice.)

Caine Domingo plays a character who is often stressed by both work and personal life, adding depth to the story. Reflecting on his role, Caine shared how portraying someone who deals with emotional strain was key to his character. He also praised Julia’s work ethic.

“Pagiging mainitin yung ulo. Laging stressed sa problem ng office, sa bahay, at sa personal love life. ⁠While we are making this film she’s always approaching me to practice our lines, acting and more. In the screen she’s giving her very best to portraying the character,” Caine explained.

Director Job Mondigo sees the series as a reflection of the struggles many young adults face today: balancing career ambitions and romantic relationships.

He hopes viewers will relate to the characters as they juggle these two important aspects of life, adding that the show emphasizes the challenges posed by differences in social and economic backgrounds.

“Gusto namin bigyang pansin yung struggle sa buhay ng mga young adult na kadalasan ay naiipit sa sitwasyon na kung saan ay kailangan mamili between love and career. Gusto rin namin ipakita kung gaano nakakaapekto yung pagkakaiba ng kalagayan sa buhay ng tao pagdating sa pakikipagrelasyon. This is something na relatable sa mga tao dahil tinatalakay yung dalawang mahalagang bagay sa buhay ng isang young adult which is love and career. Kung paano ito maipagsasabay o iha-handle ng mga character, yun ang dapat natin abangan sa series,” Mondigo explained.

(We wanted to highlight the struggles young adults face, where they often have to choose between love and career. We also wanted to show how the differences in social and economic status affect relationships. This is something relatable because it tackles two important aspects of a young adult’s life—love and career. How the characters will balance or handle both is what we should look forward to in the series.)
