Pagpag humorously explores the Filipino tradition of “pagpag,” where mourners avoid returning home directly after a funeral wake. This practice is believed to prevent the spirit of the deceased from following them home.

Beyond its quirky take on this time-honored custom, Forest Lake conveys a profound message: while we might attempt to postpone or sidestep the topic of death, it remains an integral part of the life cycle that we ultimately need to accept. The Pagpag video also emphasizes the significance of forward-thinking; planning ahead is essential for ensuring the security and peace of mind for our loved ones.
