Kritiko unveils new digital album ‘Bounce’ under Blvck Music

Blvck Music, a division of Blvck Entertainment Production, Inc., has officially released Kritiko’s new digital album titled Bounce. Kritiko, whose real name is John Edixon, gained prominence in 2018 through his third-place finish in the Himig Handog songwriting competition with the hit song Kababata.

This breakthrough paved the way for high-profile collaborations with artists like KZ Tandingan (Raise Your Flag), Ogie Alcasid and Iñigo Pascual (Do You Wanna Dance with Me), and Loisa Andalio (Salamat Sa).

In 2019, Kritiko featured in the Christmas single Kay Sayang Pasko Na Naman alongside Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis, which served as the theme song for the film The Mall The Merrier. His exceptional talent as a songwriter and rap artist has earned recognition from prestigious award-giving bodies. At the 2019 Awit Awards, he was a finalist for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Recording (Kababata), a nominee for Best Inspirational Song (Raise Your Flag), and a contender for Best Rap Artist.

Kritiko continued to make waves, earning 4th Best Song at the Himig Handog 11th Edition in 2021 with Ang Hirap Maging Mahirap (co-written with Davey Langit). He also secured nominations at the MOR Awards 2021 for New Male Artist of the Year and Song of the Year (Salamat Sa, featuring Loisa Andalio).

This year, Kritiko marks his return with the release of Bounce, his new digital album under Blvck Music. Managed by Blvck Entertainment Production, Inc., owned by Engineers Grace and Louie Cristobal, Kritiko showcases his artistry through tracks that resonate with themes of friendship, loyalty, and resilience.

The carrier single Bounce celebrates the unwavering support of life’s true companions, while other songs, including 315 (Til I Found), Isigaw Mo Lang, Palaisipan, ‘Di Nawala (featuring Yhanzy), and Balang Araw (featuring Yhanzy), explore various facets of life and dreams. Kritiko, who penned all the tracks, describes the album as a mix of positive and negative emotions, emphasizing triumph over struggles to achieve aspirations. The album cover art visually reflects this narrative.

The Bounce album is now streaming on popular music platforms. Fans can also enjoy the music video for Bounce on YouTube, directed by Louie Ong. The production was made possible through partnerships with Alkaviva Waters Philippines, GLC Infinite Waters International Co., Grace Electronics Philippines, Blue Green Dragon Marketing, LG Realty Development, and Blvck Creatives Studio.
