Known for its rich cultural heritage, stunning natural wonders, and culinary delights, Bicol takes the spotlight with the Musika Para sa Bikol: Himig ng Bayanihan fundraising concert.
Set to take place on December 6, 2024 at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation (ICR) in Legazpi City, the event promises to bring the community together through music while shining a light on the unique charm of this beloved Philippine region. From the iconic Mayon Volcano and serene beaches to the exhilarating experience of swimming with whale sharks in Donsol, Bicol captivates with its beauty and vibrant flavors, including the famous Laing and Bicol Express.
Despite its allure, Bicol faces immense challenges as one of the Philippines’ most typhoon-prone areas. With an average of 20 typhoons striking the region annually, Bicol regularly contends with severe flooding, destruction of homes and infrastructure, agricultural damage, and disrupted livelihoods, particularly in coastal and low-lying communities.
Through this concert, Musika Para sa Bikol: Himig ng Bayanihan aims to raise awareness and support for the resilience of the Bicolano people while celebrating their culture and spirit.

Music for a Cause
The spirit of community and generosity has been evident throughout the ongoing relief efforts, with significant support coming from both the public and private sectors. The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), in partnership with Live Nation Philippines (LNPH), has extended assistance through donations, demonstrating its commitment to the affected communities. Their contributions highlight the vital role of collaboration in addressing urgent needs and fostering hope.
A Concert with a Purpose
