The Marikina City local government, led by Mayor Marcy Teodoro and 1st District Rep. Maan Teodoro, has officially opened a dedicated pet park beside City Hall, providing a spacious and safe environment for pets of all sizes.
“Meron tayong ginawang pet park para maiparamdam din natin sa ating mga pet ang alagang Marikina,” Rep. Teodoro shared.

Residents of Marikina City have expressed their appreciation for the establishment of Paws @ Play Marikina Pet Park, a space where their furbabies can enjoy outdoor activities and exercise freely.
Aside from the huge space, the pet park provides safety for pets, as it is fully enclosed and away from traffic, giving pet owners peace of mind while their furbabies enjoy the outdoors.
In addition, the Marikina City government is providing free daily anti-rabies vaccination for pets in all barangays and pet registration to ensure the health and safety of both pets and residents.
By registering their pets with the City Veterinary Office (CVO), Rep. Teodoro said residents can get access to free anti-rabies vaccinations provided by the local government. She said, “Pet owners are given vaccination cards where they can record their fur babies’ vaccination schedules, ensuring they receive timely shots against rabies.”
