“When I won Miss Mestiza, it really helped me to embrace who I am…” Eljae narrated. “Before, they look at me like, ‘Bakit ang putla mo?’ (Why do you look pale)… But when Mestiza was introduced to Miss Caloocan [pageant], I was very grateful because it really brings my natural glow.
