Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, the daughter of late former Senator Ninoy Aquino and former President Cory Aquino, and sister of former President Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III, made her way to her hometown in Tarlac to show her support for independent senatorial candidate Bam Aquino.
During her visit to the Tarlac Public Market in Tarlac City, Ballsy actively engaged with the local community, distributing tarpaulin banners, stickers, and leaflets. She took the time to speak with both the market vendors and shoppers, sharing Bam Aquino’s past achievements and his future plans for the Senate.
Ballsy campaigned with Bam’s wife Timi and sibling PV, and other members of the Aquino Family, including their cousin, actress Jackie Aquino, daughter of former Senator Butz Aquino.
Ballsy has released an endorsement video where she declares how much Bam values education, which is why he persevered to pass the Free College Law during his first term as Senator.
“Bata pa lang si Bam, importante sa kanya ang edukasyon. Siya ay nagtrabaho nang maigi, nagtapos ng grade school, high school at college ng valedictorian. Nagtapos siya ng Summa Cum Laude at Management Engineering ang kanyang tinapos,” Ballsy said of Bam.
(Since Bam was young, education has always been important to him. He worked hard, graduating as valedictorian in grade school, high school, and college. He finished summa cum laude with a degree in Management Engineering.)
(When he became a senator, he worked hard to make sure we had free education for those who wanted to go to college. Bam can still do so much more for all of us. I hope we can bring him back to the Senate.)
Tarlac holds a special place for the Aquino Family. Ninoy Aquino was Mayor of Concepcion, Tarlac, and he served as vice governor and governor of the province before he was elected as senator.
