Kiko Estrada, ‘Kapatid Prince of Primetime’, is newest ‘Totoy Bato’

Even before the hit primetime drama Lumuhod Ka sa Lupa aired its final episode, TV5 confirmed Kiko Estrada’s next big project during a story conference held at the TV5 Media Center in Mandaluyong City. The actor, dubbed the “Kapatid Prince of Primetime,” is set to portray the titular role in Totoy Bato—a character made iconic by the late action legend Fernando Poe Jr.

The series takes inspiration from the original movie classic of the same name, which was based on the work of renowned comics creator and film producer Carlo J. Caparas.

Kapatid viewers can expect intense action and explosive fight scenes, as Kiko’s character becomes the savior of Pook Paraiso, using only his “kamao.”

As “Totoy Bato,” Kiko will go head-to-head with powerful families. He’ll be joined by a powerhouse cast—seasoned actors and some of today’s most talented stars.

Joining the cast of “Totoy Bato” are Bea Binene, Cindy Miranda, and Diego Loyzaga, along with Nonie Buencamino, Mon Confiado, Art Acuña, Mark Anthony Fernandez, and veteran actress Ms. Eula Valdez—with special participation by Joko Diaz, Katya Santos, Kean Cipriano, and Ms. Jackie Lou Blanco. Kiko will also be joined by Andrew Muhlach, Billy Villeta, Ivan Padilla, Lester Llansang, Benz Sangalang, Gold Aceron, and CJ Caparas—the son of the original creator of “Totoy Bato.” The show will also introduce Lawrence Dela Cruz, Benedict Lao, Natania Guerrero, Jeremiah Cruz, Dwayne Bialoglovski, and Stanley Abuloc.

Directed by Albert S. Langitan, with Zyro Radoc and Ambo Gonzales, “Totoy Bato” is produced by MavenPro and Sari Sari Network Inc., under the production of Studio Viva, and is coming very soon on TV5’s TodoMax Primetime Singko block.
