The cameras have officially started rolling for Beyond the Call of Duty, a star-studded action-drama film that pays tribute to the bravery, sacrifice, and heart of the country’s public servants. With the support of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and other key government agencies, this timely and emotionally charged project aims to bring real-life heroism to the big screen.
A story conference was recently held at Camp Crame, gathering the film’s lead stars, production team, and partners from the PNP, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine Safety College, and LCS Group headed by Gov. Luis Chavit Singson. Members of the media, including CinemaBravo, were also in attendance during the event that marked the film’s official launch.
“Sobrang fresh nito sa akin na I’m playing a very honorable role: isang pulis, bayani ng ating bayan. So, napaka-happy and proud [ko] na napili akong maging parte ng movie na ito,” shared Martin Del Rosario, who is one of the film’s lead stars.
(This is such a fresh experience for me because I’m playing a very honorable role—a policeman, a hero of our nation. So, I’m really happy and proud to have been chosen to be part of this movie.)
“I was really excited po na gawin [ang pelikulang ito] because my character will represent one of the heroes who will defend our country,” Devon Seron said when asked about accepting her role.

Beyond the Call of Duty will be released in theaters nationwide this 2025, with a global rollout via Netflix also in the works to reach overseas Filipino audiences. The production team is also preparing special screenings and school tours to bring the film closer to local communities and spark meaningful conversations around service and civic responsibility.
