Jake Ejercito has officially voiced his support for the senatorial campaigns of former Senators Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan in the upcoming May elections.
The actor took to his social media platforms to endorse the two candidates, posting their official ballot numbers—No. 5 for Aquino and No. 51 for Pangilinan—along with a caption that read: “Para sa bawat hapag at sa kabataan, KIKO-BAM!” (For every dining table and for the youth, KIKO-BAM!)
Ejercito’s endorsement adds his name to the growing list of celebrities who have publicly expressed their support for Aquino’s Senate comeback.
In 2022, Ejercito participated in several rallies for Vice President Leni Robredo and took part in house-to-house campaigning in support of her presidential bid.
Jake joins the list of young showbiz personalities backing Bam’s candidacy, following endorsements from Anne Curtis, Janine Gutierrez, and Bea Binene.
Anne has repeatedly expressed her support for Aquino on her social media accounts. Most recently, Anne reposted Aquino’s call for voters’ support on her X (formerly Twitter) account, adding the caption “Number 5”—Aquino’s number on the ballot.
Earlier, Anne personally conveyed her support to Aquino during an unexpected encounter at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2.
Anne even posed for a photo with Aquino while flashing the No. 5 sign, reinforcing her endorsement. She also shared the photo on her Instagram account with the caption, “Bumped into someone I’m voting for! ”
Janine shared on her Instagram Story a video of a mother expressing gratitude to Senator Aquino for passing the Free College Law.
In the said video, a mother thanked Aquino for the law that enabled her child to earn a nursing degree from Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU).
During his recent visit to the Balanga Public Market in Balanga, Bataan, former Senator Bam Aquino received a heartfelt message from a mother who benefited from his programs. She shared: “Nagpapasalamat po ako kay Senator Bam Aquino. Dahil po sa kanya, nakatapos po ang anak ko ng nursing.” (I’m thankful to Senator Bam Aquino. Because of him, my child was able to finish a nursing degree.)
A long-time Bam supporter, Bea has actively participated in various house-to-house and market runs across the country, even accompanying Aquino’s wife, Timi, in a market run in Cebu City.
Bea also joined Bam when he filed his certificate of candidacy before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in October. She also posted a message of support for Bam’s senatorial bid on her Facebook page.
