Vice Ganda rallies final call to support Angkasangga

At a miting de avance held in Lipa, Batangas, TV and movie comedian and actress Vice Ganda made a heartfelt appeal to voters to support the Angkasangga Partylist and elect its First Nominee George Royeca into Congress.

(I want to ask a favor from all of you because there is someone I truly believe should be in Congress—someone who has the power to help all of us and fight for the causes that matter in our lives.)

The Unkabogable Star said she supports Royeca not because of politics, but because of what he has already done through Angkas, a motorcycle taxi platform that has changed lives long before seeking public office.

(Angkas has helped not only its riders, but also their loved ones and families. And that’s all because of the initiatives started by our friend, George Royeca.)

Vice Ganda emphasized that she shares the same advocacy as Royeca, which he intends to champion if elected to Congress.

(He really has a lot of plans, which we’ve already discussed, and I fully support them. These would be a big help to your livelihoods and your families. It’s time our families are given dignity.)

(So if you trust me, I ask that you also trust Angkasangga with your vote.)

Among Angkasangga’s advocacies is to integrate motorcycles into the national transport plan as thousands of informal workers, tricycle drivers, vendors, and freelancers depend on it for their livelihood.

Angkasangga also commits to championing the rights and welfare of informal workers in Congress and addressing urgent issues like public transportation, job creation, and worker protection.

Royeca will also advocate key labor reforms, including paid sick leave and government-mandated benefits for informal workers and accident insurance for members of the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA).
