The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) has launched its “1–2 Minutes TikTok Video Competition” to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and China.
The announcement was made during a press conference held at the 86-year-old Pandesal Forum of Kamuning Bakery Café, owned by Wilson Lee Flores, who also moderated the event. It was also an opportunity for members of the entertainment media—including CinemaBravo—to welcome newly-elected FFCCCII President Victor Lim, who encouraged young Filipinos to creatively express the enduring friendship between the two nations.
“This is your chance to celebrate our shared history through creativity,” said Lim. “Let your TikTok videos inspire unity and showcase the vibrant future of Philippines-China relations.”
Also present during the presscon were FFCCCII Youth Committee’s Peter Mangasing (Chairman) and Jayson Sze (Co-Chairman).
About the competition
The contest is open to Filipino citizens aged 18 to 35, whether joining individually or as a team. Only one entry is allowed per participant or group, and entrants must not be affiliated with FFCCCII Main.
Entries must be 1–2 minutes long, in portrait orientation, and submitted in MP4 format. Videos may be in any Filipino dialect, but must include English subtitles.
The theme centers on Philippines-China relations—whether through personal or community stories, cultural connections, or messages promoting stronger bilateral ties.
