Film Concerts PH is bringing another epic chapter of the galaxy far, far away to life with Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back In Concert, happening on August 30 and 31, 2025 at The Theatre at Solaire. This cinematic spectacle will feature the GRAMMY®-winning score of John Williams, performed live alongside the full film by the renowned Filharmonika Orchestra under the baton of acclaimed conductor Gerard Salonga.

Following the successful staging of Star Wars: A New Hope In Concert in September 2024, Film Concerts PH now continues the saga with the beloved second installment of the original trilogy. Audiences will be treated to a breathtaking fusion of film and music, where the iconic soundtrack is brought to life in real-time, heightening the emotional intensity and nostalgia of every scene.

The Empire Strikes Back remains one of the most celebrated entries in the Star Wars saga. Its RIAA® platinum-certified soundtrack includes seventeen unforgettable score cues, all composed by the legendary Academy Award® and GRAMMY®-winning maestro John Williams.

For fans of epic cinema, symphonic music, and the timeless story of the Rebellion versus the Empire, this concert promises a one-of-a-kind experience that brings the force of music to the big screen like never before.

The battle for the galaxy intensifies in this thrilling fifth episode. As Imperial Forces launch an all-out attack on the Rebel Alliance, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) flee to Cloud City where they are captured by Darth Vader. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) journeys to the mysterious, marshy planet of Dagobah, where the wise Jedi Master Yoda teaches the young hero the ways of the Force.

Little does Luke know that all his Jedi training will be called upon so soon. A stunning revelation – and a seeming life-or-death duel with Darth Vader – await.
