What was once considered an impossible dream among fans of P-pop has now become a stunning reality. On July 5, Puregold OPM Con 2025 pulled off what many believed couldn’t happen—bringing together three of the most prominent P-pop girl groups, BINI, KAIA, and G22, for a single electrifying stage show at the Philippine Arena.
For BLOOMs, ZAIA, and BULLETs who flocked to the venue to see their idols perform solo, nothing could have prepared them for the powerful surprises that unfolded throughout the night. The event delivered not just back-to-back performances, but three unforgettable crossover moments that embodied unity in the P-pop community.
One of the highlights came during BINI’s set, when they performed their viral hit “Shagidi.” In an unexpected twist, Charlotte of KAIA and Alfea of G22 appeared onstage to join the dance alongside Stell of SB19. The synchronized number sent fans from all three fandoms into an uproar as they watched their favorites come together for a rare collaboration.
Concert viewers were further stunned when Pinoy rock legend Rico Blanco joined boy group SB19 in performing the latter’s hit single “Dungka.” During the number, KAIA, G22, and Sheena of BINI swooped onstage to link up with Blanco and SB19. Just imagine five Pinoy powerhouses joining forces to celebrate Pinoy music!
Finally, in sync with the event’s headliners, all three girl groups united once more for a dazzling performance of Puregold’s anthem “Nasa Atin ang Panalo,” a song that perfectly reflects the joy and triumph of seeing BINI, KAIA, and G22 collectively uplifting Pinoy music.
Social media’s positive response to this grand finale validated Puregold OPM Con 2025’s theme of togetherness. For one night, BINI, KAIA, and G22’s fandoms momentarily set aside exclusivity and chose, instead, to uplift one another and celebrate the power of Pinoy music as a whole.
Perhaps it was the shared experience of concert goers securing their tickets through grocery shopping—or the matchless production value of the event, with each act getting a chance to shine through their individual stages.
Maybe it was the sheer size of the crowd—30,000 ardent OPM fans screaming at the top of their lungs. Or maybe it was just ‘lightning in a bottle’, with the perfect storm of artists and ambiance. Whatever the reason, every P-pop stan at Puregold OPM Con 2025 showed up and stayed for the biggest Pinoy music event of the year.
In the end, Puregold OPM Con 2025 proved that magic needs neither sleight-of-hand tricks nor a complex formula. Sometimes all it takes is three incredible girl groups, one legendary stage, and 30,000 people who believe in the shared power of true Filipino music.
