Comedian and motivational figure Bearwin Meily is back at the helm of a major fitness event as he spearheads the organization of the “You VERSUS You Run 2025” under 88 Sports PH, a division of 88 ACE Production Corp. This upcoming fun run is set for July 20, 2025 (Sunday) at 4:00 AM at the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub in Imus City, Cavite.

During a press conference held at Max’s Restaurant in Quezon City, organizers emphasized that the run is not about outrunning others, but about showing up for yourself. The event aims to inspire participants to pursue wellness through self-improvement and commitment, rather than competition. With the theme “You VERSUS You,” the race highlights personal milestones over podium finishes.
Returning as race director, Bearwin Meily—known for championing themed runs in the Philippines—continues to encourage fitness and mental resilience through positive, inclusive events. In the past, he inspired many runners with the promise of finisher shirts and milestone medals. Now, he steps back into the spotlight to guide a new generation toward health and wellness.
Organizing efforts are led by Mr. Michael Maranan, President and CEO of 88 ACE Production Corporation. Maranan also chairs the Maranan Group of Companies and founded the My Superhero Friends Foundation, the charitable beneficiary of the event. A portion of the proceeds will go toward supporting children and various community programs through the foundation.
