After making an impressive showing on their Asian tour, forging emotional connections with new fans across Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines, the beloved new girl band Quadlips continue making waves in the Asian pop music scene. Comprised of four members from the AKB48 Group Global Project and managed by Japan’s Superball, the four-piece girl band features Feni (JKT48 – Jakarta), Hina (SKE48 – Nagoya), Cole (MNL48 – Manila), and Fame (BNK48 – Bangkok). They accelerate their momentum with their latest release, “Wings Grow Back,” a high-energy pop-dance track filled with bubbly vibes, inspirational lyrics, and an empowering message — now available on all major platforms along with a striking new music video.
“Wings Grow Back” may have a baddie exterior that could be handy for your TikTok posts or a hit in your favorite clubs, but beneath that, it delivers a positive message of hope, strength, and resilience to listeners going through tough times. It straightforwardly states that even in pain or sadness, our scars can become our armor, that we can pick ourselves up again, and that our wings — symbols of toughness and optimism — can grow back stronger than ever, ready to fly again with pride and confidence. The track hits home especially for Feni, who co-produced and helped shape the concept, costume design, and choreography. Their confident, eccentric dance routine with its strong baddie appeal embodies the fierce, free, and zany energy of the song.
They definitely went all out with the music video — shot on location in the heart of Tokyo, Japan, featuring sleek JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars, popular in street racing and action film culture. These stylish scenes enhance Quadlips’ image as a globally recognized act with a distinctive elegance.
The girls poured their heart and soul into every element of this project, aiming to make a huge impact.
