Public ticket sales now open for ONE PIECE Music Symphony in Manila

Tickets are now available to the public for ONE PIECE Music Symphony, the only official One Piece concert experience, happening on November 8 and 9, 2025, at The Theatre at Solaire.

The concert features One Piece composer Kohei Tanaka’s score, performed live by the Filharmonika Orchestra under the direction of a guest conductor.

Film Concerts PH brings to life over 25 years of the Straw Hat Crew’s legendary adventures in this highly anticipated concert. Fans of the world’s best-selling manga can relive their favorite moments and experience the magic of One Piece’s iconic music live, paired with breathtaking HD scenes from the anime. The show will feature Kohei Tanaka’s original score performed by over 60 musicians from the Filharmonika Orchestra under the direction of a guest conductor.

Specially prepared arrangements by Tanaka for this tour include the brand-new TV opening “UUUUUS!”, alongside fan favorites such as the emotional ‘Haha naru Umi’ (Mother Sea), the lighthearted ‘Sekai no ichiban oden da!!’ (This is the best oden in the world!!), and the powerful ‘Ore no saikouchiten’ (Luffy’s Gear 5 Theme).

ABOUT GERARD SALONGA AND THE FILHARMONIKA ORCHESTRA

The Filharmonika Orchestra is the Manila-based orchestra affiliated with Film Concerts PH. Founded by conductor Gerard Salonga in 2005, it was revived in 2024 following a nearly decade-long hiatus. The orchestra consists of numerous players from the former ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, the last Philippine orchestra that Salonga led as Music Director until 2020.

Gerard Salonga is currently Resident Conductor of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in Kuala Lumpur, a position he has held since January 2019. He was selected by Maestro Jaap van Zweden from a pool of over 170 international candidates to act as Assistant Conductor of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra for two seasons from 2016 to 2018. From 2012 to 2020, he also served as Music Director of the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra in Manila.  In January of 2021, he began his term as the Music Director of the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth (OFY).

About ONE PIECE Music Symphony

Premiered on July 30, 2013, ONE PIECE Music Symphony is the only official One Piece concert, arranged and curated in collaboration with original composer Kohei Tanaka and licensed by TOEI ANIMATION. 

In 2025, ONE PIECE Music Symphony celebrates its 12th year in Asia, 11th year in Europe, and 3rd year in America. The world’s most renowned concert venues, including the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the Philharmonie in Paris, and the Beijing Workers’ Stadium, have all sold out for the performance. It has also been performed by national orchestras, such as the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, the Aarhus Symfoniorkester, and the national orchestras of Strasbourg, Marseille, and Mulhouse in France.

With videos perfectly synchronized with the anthology soundtrack and projected in HD onto a giant screen, action, adventure, and emotions are guaranteed. Enhanced by a symphony orchestra of more than 60 musicians, each show is a chance to experience the most famous music from the TV series live.

About Kohei Tanaka (Composer)

Japanese composer, arranger, and singer Kohei Tanaka has written musical scores for numerous famous anime TV series, OVAs, movies, computer games, and tokusatsu series—among them One Piece, Sakura Taisen, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Gunbuster. 

Tanaka began playing the piano at an early age. After graduating from Osaka Seiko Gakuin High School, Tanaka studied music composition under Tomojirō Ikenouchi at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Once he graduated, Tanaka worked for three years in the advertising department of Victor Music Industries before spending two years at the Berkley College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He then returned to Japan to pursue a career as a pianist and a composer.

About Hiroshi Kitadani (Singer)

Japanese singer Hiroshi Kitadani is best known for performing theme songs and other anime songs. He also works behind the scenes of many songs and is a member of the JAM Project band. He is most famous for singing the popular first opening theme of One Piece, “We Are!” and “We Go!”, “OVER THE TOP,” the opening of the Land of Wano arc, and most recently “Assu!” opening of the newest arc, Egg Head.
