Tiggi Hawke isn’t just a musician—she is a storyteller who builds immersive sonic landscapes. Her music blends shimmering electronic layers with cinematic intensity and deeply emotional lyrics, placing her at the unique crossroads of alt-pop and a sound that feels almost otherworldly.
Based in London, Tiggi’s songs have reached audiences far beyond the UK. Her artistry is marked by the ability to create tracks that feel both intimate and expansive, powered by a voice that can be tender in one moment and electrifying in the next.
London & Manila: different music energies
During an intimate interview with Tiggi Hawke in a restaurant in Makati City on September 19, 2025, CinemaBravo asked her to talk about the London music scene, comparing it with other cities she has visited and worked in.
“Every city kind of has a bit of a different energy I found that I’ve been to and I’ve been working in and been lucky enough to visit,” she related. “In London, London has a really really interesting music scene. A lot of different pockets of sound. Very experimental to kind of very hardcore electronic. You can find anything in London if you look hard enough. But it can also be quite contained.”
She contrasted that with what she has observed in Manila so far. This is her second visit to the Philippines this year. “I found that… Manila has an amazing energy. It feels very vibrant, very fresh, and everyone’s so interested in hearing new things and very open to new artists and new music, which I love. Everyone I’ve met has been amazing and I feel very lucky to be here actually.”
Tiggi also noted how the Philippine culture, especially at night, naturally fits her electronic dance music style. CinemaBravo asked how she feels about her genrse— electronic and dance—as they perfectly fits the culture of the Philippine scene, especially at night.
“The lights at night are so stunning. I saw briefly last night ’cause I got in quite late, but I was looking around while coming from the airport and it’s so cool. It’s so cool.”
New single ‘Calling Earth’
Currently in the Philippines, Tiggi continues her Southeast Asian trip—which also includes Indonesia and Singapore—while promoting her newest single Calling Earth, a highlight from her four-track extended play (EP).
“If the phone rings and it’s an unknown number, do you pick up? This song is that call, a whisper from the in between where connections are made and lost. The middle 8 is made from the voices of my friends, whispering like ghosts in a machine, urging you to reach out and take a single step into the unknown. Its equal parts human and electronic, real and not, certain and unwritten.”
Her journey has taken her from early experiments in songwriting to the attention of tastemakers like BBC Radio 1 and KISS, and global streaming audiences who have clocked up millions of listens. But Tiggi isn’t chasing trends—she’s building a universe. Her music is thoughtful yet infectious, often pairing raw emotion with bold sonic choices that blur the line between the organic and the synthetic.
Calling Earth offers a compelling taste of what’s to come from this innovative pop artist. Tiggi will be actively promoting the EP throughout Europe as well. he tour will feature an exciting series of live performances at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium in Tarlac, Philippines, promising to showcase her dynamic stage presence and deepen her growing connection with fans across the region.
