Rapper Pio Balbuena recently made waves in Quezon City with the first-ever S’kwater Runway Fashion Show, marking a major milestone in his creative journey.
The show highlighted Tambay Streetwear, Balbuena’s very own clothing line that embodies urban grit and community pride. Models who strutted down the runway included Pio himself, his wife Aira Balbuena, close friends, and several invited guest models.
The S’kwater Runway Fashion Show gained recognition not only for its one-of-a-kind concept but also for its celebration of local street culture, reflected through bold and expressive designs. The runway presented a thoughtful mix of everyday streetwear staples and refined, contemporary pieces, embodying the Filipino spirit of aspiration, creativity, and resilience.
According to Pio, the fashion show also aimed to inspire Filipinos to pursue success through their passions, creativity, and dreams.
“Para sa umaasa na may mapapala. Iyong apoy sa dibdib ko ay di mawawala,” Pio said.
Alongside the fashion show, Pio also launched the Tambay App, a one-stop hub for merchandise, exclusive drops, updates, as well as his album.
