A-Nexus Inc., a renowned talent management agency based in the United States, proudly announced that MASHIRO, one of the standout performers from KLP48, has officially joined the global pop unit Quadlips. The announcement was made through the group’s social media platforms on October 1, 2025, signaling another milestone in Quadlips’ growing journey as they continue to highlight Asia’s brightest stars.

Established in 2023, Quadlips serves as the international unit of the AKB48 Group, uniting select members from its various sister groups across Asia. The collective has been making waves in the regional pop music scene for its diverse cultural representation and synchronized artistry.

With MASHIRO joining the lineup alongside FENI (JKT48), COLE (MNL48), and FAME (BNK48), Quadlips strengthens its vision of bridging fans from different countries through music. Her addition brings a fresh energy and distinctive charm to the group, further enhancing its dynamic appeal as they aim for global recognition.

MASHIRO, hailing from the culturally rich Nara Prefecture in Japan, is a proud representative of the 2nd generation of KLP48 (Kuala Lumpur) and was announced as a new member of Quadlips at the Japan’s Oshi Tera Idol Matsuri event in September 2025. Her unique perspective and vibrant energy are expected to elevate the group’s performance and engagement with fans. With the existing members making significant strides in connecting with audiences across Asia, MASHIRO’s addition is poised to further amplify their impact.

About Quadlips

AKB48 began in Japan in 2005, followed by JKT48 in 2011, which started overseas. In the history of the AKB48 group, Quadlips became the first unit featuring selected members from various AKB48 groups across Asia. On October 29, 2023, Quadlips was officially announced, consisting of four members who have led their respective groups in countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, and the Philippines. The unit’s activities kicked off in these countries and extend to other parts of Southeast Asia.
