Heart Evangelista’s supporters decry alleged coordinated online attacks

Supporters of Heart Evangelista are expressing concern over what they describe as “synchronized attacks” targeting the prominent fashion influencer and entrepreneur. According to her fans, recent waves of criticism directed at Heart on social media appear to be happening simultaneously or in a rapid, planned sequence—giving the impression of a deliberate effort to undermine her public image and her standing with brands that regularly tap her as an ambassador.

They note that negative posts about Heart have become almost a daily occurrence, which they believe is unusual and indicative of a coordinated campaign. For them, the pattern suggests that the attacks are not random but carefully organized.

Fans further argue that the consistency of the criticism makes it unlikely to be the work of ordinary detractors or jealous followers. Instead, they believe multiple groups across different platforms may be working toward a single objective: damaging Heart’s reputation.

They add that the intended outcome of these alleged attacks is clear—to influence how local and international brands view Heart as an endorser.

Supporters also point out that many accounts spreading negative content lack proper profile photos and have minimal followers, raising doubts about their authenticity.

Some individuals, they say, have even been trying to link Heart to national issues, despite the fact that she was already an accomplished actress, long-time brand endorser, and financially independent career woman before marrying Senator Chiz Escudero. They also cite her family’s long-established businesses, including ownership in the well-known restaurant chain Barrio Fiesta.

Heart’s fans likewise defend her openness on social media, saying she consistently shows transparency about her life—whether she is sharing her work as a fashion influencer or expressing when she feels happy, sad, frustrated, or annoyed.

One fan commented, “Wala siyang tinatago. Kung meron man ay siguradong nabuking na niya ang sarili noon pa!”

(She is not hiding anything. If she were, she would have exposed herself a long time ago.)

They insist that many of the allegations against Heart are unfounded or based on speculation. An example they cite is the claim about her Paraiba ring, which some detractors insist is worth ₱56 million. Active online jewelry sellers have repeatedly clarified that a high-quality Paraiba ring, typically four to seven carats, generally sells for just over ₱1 million.

Heart’s supporters now ask:

“Sino nga ba ang nasa likod ng mga pag-atakeng ito? Bakit si Heart ang gustong sirain? Sino ang gumagastos sa mga paninira? At sino ang makikinabang kapag nagtagumpay sila sa paninira kay Heart?”

(Who is behind these attacks? Why target Heart? Who is funding the smear efforts? And who stands to benefit if they succeed?)

They add that it is disheartening to see even some former colleagues suddenly joining in the criticism.

“Kilala si Heart sa showbiz na mahusay makisama kaya nakakagulat na pati ang dati niyang katrabaho ay biglang umaatake sa kanya. Sad reality na ginawa mo ang lahat ng pakikisama pero maraming tao ang uunahin ang sarili nilang kapakanan kaysa sa pagiging loyal,” one supporter said.

(Heart is known in showbiz for getting along well with people, so it’s surprising that even former colleagues are suddenly attacking her. It’s a sad reality—you do everything to get along with others, but many people will still put their own interests above loyalty.)
