The holiday season took on a more elegant glow as Mandarin Premier Hotels and Resorts Group marked its third annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Mandarin Bay Resort and Spa, widely known as the Heart of Boracay. The festive evening also doubled as the group’s second Appreciation Night, held under the theme Mask and Lights: An Evening of Celebration and Recognition, bringing together key business and media partners from across Asia and Manila.
Beyond the formal program, the celebration extended into an immersive experience for guests through a familiarization tour of several Mandarin Premier properties in Boracay. Participants were introduced to Mandarin Nest Boracay, Mandarin Island Hotel, Mandarin White Sand, and Island Inn Boracay, allowing them to explore spaces designed to balance timeless elegance with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Signature amenities across the properties further highlighted the group’s consistent approach to comfort and refined hospitality.

The tour also featured visits to several of the group’s in-house dining destinations, including La Fiesta, Mamma Mia, and Hakuna Matata. Each restaurant presented freshly prepared dishes that added a flavorful and satisfying dimension to the experience. Longtime favorite Don Vito, one of Mandarin Premier’s most established dining outlets, stood out alongside Eight by the Beach, where comforting food was complemented by a relaxed seaside ambiance.
Through the combination of festive tradition, partner recognition, and an in-depth look at its portfolio, Mandarin Premier Hotels and Resorts Group underscored its continued commitment to meaningful relationships and elevated hospitality experiences in Boracay.
Mandarin Premier also hosted a welcome dinner at Hakuna Matata, Mandarin Nest’s in-house restaurant, where a Christmas Tree Lighting event added a festive touch. The dinner gave everyone a chance to reconnect, enjoy conversations and set the tone for the main event ahead.
As the Mask and Lights celebration began, the venue came alive with guests dressed in refined gowns, classic suits and creative masks. The atmosphere grew even more vibrant as the Mandarin Nest Sunset Dancers graced the night with an elegant and captivating performance.
Mr. Robert Po, Chairman of the Mandarin Premier Hotels and Resorts Group, opened the ceremony by reflecting on the journey behind the annual tradition. “This year, we celebrate the third Christmas Tree Lighting at Mandarin Bay Resort and Spa, a tradition born from the simple wish to bring joy, warmth, and togetherness. It honors the bonds we’ve built, the moments we’ve shared, and the spirit of giving that brings us all together.”
The event strengthened Mandarin Premier’s ongoing commitment to position Boracay and Mandarin Premier properties as a joyful sanctuary for travelers, a place where guests can create meaningful memories and feel the welcoming embrace of home.
Just like the heartwarming message from Mandarin Premier’s Managing Director, Ms. Lily Po “We can assure you that we will do our very best to give the best service to all your clients. They are our guests because they will have that Mandarin service that we will provide our guests, which in turn creates unforgettable experiences and memories for them to bring home and cherish.”
A highlight of the evening was the awarding ceremony for top performing business and media partners who played essential roles in the company’s continued success in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. The appreciation night stood as Mandarin Premier’s heartfelt way of acknowledging their partners’ dedication in helping bring the brand’s mission to life by pairing world class amenities with the genuine warmth of Filipino care.
Mandarin Premier Hotels and Resorts Group remained committed to offering outstanding service, comforting facilities and the sincere hospitality that defines every stay with their resorts in the magical island of Boracay. For more information about Mandarin Premier Hotels and Resorts Group, visit www.mandarinpremier.com
