Newly minted lawyer Gabriel Divina has drawn online attention after sharing playful remarks about style icon Heart Evangelista, whom he appears to regard as a “sister.”

On social media, Gabriel recently described his first meeting with Heart and how the interaction left a strong impression on him. Gabriel is the son of University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Civil Law Dean Nilo Divina, who is also the founder and managing partner of Divina Law Office, a firm known for handling high-profile cases in the country.

On X (formerly Twitter), Gabriel, who is also known for his interest in luxury fashion, wrote: “Technically, it’s not a joke when I say ‘SISTERS!’ when I talk about Heart Evangelista because the one time I met her, her immediate response to me was ‘mukha tayong magkapatid!’”

“She’s so funny and sweet,” he added in the same post, which featured a side-by-side photo of him and Heart wearing matching leopard-print coats.

Gabriel also shared comments that appeared to respond to critics who question Heart’s ability to afford luxury items. He pointed out that content creator and influencer Mimiyuuuh, who works as an endorser and influencer like Heart, is able to afford properties, vehicles, and luxury bags.

Mimiyuuuh is publicly known for having grown up in poverty and for supporting her family. Through her social media content, she later became a successful influencer.

“Keep in mind, Mimiyuuuh is also an endorser and influencer just like Heart Evangelista, and despite growing up from poverty and being the breadwinner, she’s now able to afford 2 houses, a Makati condo, several cars, Hermes and Chanel bags, and more,” Gabriel wrote on X.

“What makes y’all think Heart Evangelista can’t afford all her luxuries and more?!,” he added.

Like Heart, Gabriel frequently shares his outfits of the day on social media. Following the announcement of the 2025 Bar Examination passers on January 7, Gabriel posted: “Since I passed the 2025 bar exams, I have more excuse now to buy more Saint Laurent suits hehehehehe 😍.”

“Kailangan maging fresh for clients! Charot! 😭,” he added.

Heart Evangelista began working at a young age as a fashion model and actress. Over the years, she has established herself as a leading style and lifestyle influencer and regularly appears at major fashion weeks in Europe.
