Now in its second year, InnoVision, short for the International Conference Series on Next-Gen Technologies and Innovation, is widening its footprint across the Philippines with the launch of the InnoVision 2026 Campus Series. The initiative has already engaged more than 1,000 students and faculty members from five partner campuses through a mix of conference discussions and Generative AI certification workshops.
Spearheaded by Philippine Coding Camp (PCC), the program continues to position itself as one of the country’s forward-looking technology upskilling efforts. Its core objective remains clear: narrow the gap between academic institutions and industry while equipping Filipinos with the skills needed to stay competitive in the global digital economy.
With the expanded Campus Series this year, InnoVision is strengthening its regional direction. The program brings together universities, industry stakeholders, and international collaborators from across ASEAN, reinforcing a shared commitment to innovation and digital transformation.
A key component of the initiative is the Generative AI Certification Workshop. The sessions are conducted in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair on Harnessing Innovations in Technology to Support Teachers and Quality Learning at the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) in Malaysia. Experts from APU traveled to the Philippines to facilitate hands-on training sessions for educators and students.
Through these workshops, participants gain practical tools and real-world applications of generative AI that can be integrated into teaching methodologies, academic research, entrepreneurial ventures, and industry-driven innovation.
The Campus Series is being hosted across five university campuses, namely University of Eastern Pangasinan, Philippine Military Academy, Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila, Marikina Polytechnic College, and Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite, where participants engage in keynote talks from industry and academe leaders, hands-on Generative AI workshops, and collaboration sessions that connect local talent to ASEAN opportunities.
With partners from academia, government, and industry—including international universities, technology companies, and professional organizations—InnoVision 2026 continues to position the Philippines as an active contributor to ASEAN’s innovation ecosystem.
As Philippine Coding Camp expands its regional collaborations, the initiative aims to strengthen micro-credentialing programs, industry-academe partnerships, and global learning pathways for Filipino students and educators.
The vision remains clear: to make Filipinos globally competitive by bridging academia and industry—now on a larger scale, across ASEAN, with Philippine Coding Camp at the forefront of digital transformation.
