The music and dance that defined several generations take center stage once again with Disco Forever (D4E!) — Showstoppers of the 70s, 80s and 90s, a large-scale dance concert that reunites some of the performers who helped shape the disco era in the Philippines.
Set for March 21, 2026 at 8 PM at The Theater at Solaire, the show gathers pioneering television dance groups and artists whose performances once dominated stages and variety programs during the peak of disco culture. Tickets are available via TicketWorld, with proceeds benefiting the Dance Advocates Network for Collaborative Empowerment.
Produced by B & B House of Talents and Events Management Corp, led by Raoul V. Barbosa and Cecille T. Bravo, the production celebrates the music, dance, and performance culture that defined the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. The event also serves as a reunion of dance icons who helped establish a vibrant era of entertainment remembered by audiences across the country.
Miles Obra leads the celebration
At the center of the production is Miles Obra (Miles Borin), a longtime presence in the Philippine dance entertainment scene. From her early days with the WEA Dancers to leading Miles & The Pacesetters, Obra has remained one of the performers associated with the evolution of television dance culture.
Her involvement in the show also inspired the producers to bring together many of the dancers and performers who shared the stage during the peak years of disco entertainment.
“This show is my way of giving back to the dancers who were part of the journey. DISCO FOREVER (D4E!) celebrates the memories, friendships, and the passion for dance that continues to inspire new generations,” Obra said.
Featured performers and special guests
Joining the show are several performers who were also part of the era’s thriving dance and entertainment scene. Among the featured artists are Geleen Eugenio, The Aldeguer Sisters, Pia Moran, and Yvonne Salcedo.
Special participation will also come from Ima Castro, known as the “West End Diva,” Tess D. Smith, who performs as “Tina the Best” in tribute to Tina Turner, and the musical group The Boyfriends, known for their contribution to the Manila Sound movement.
Dance legends reunite on one stage
One of the highlights of Disco Forever (D4E!) is the reunion of several dance groups that were fixtures in television variety shows and live performances during the disco era.
The lineup includes the Swing Duos, Vicor Crowd, Vicor Dancers, Dyna Dancers, Dyna Company D, Alpha Colours, A&W Dancers, Octo Arts Dancers, Octo Mechanix, Magic Movement, Beat Culture, Knapsax, Miles and The Pacesetters, Black Gold Dancers, WEA Dancers, WEA Ral’s, BMG Dancers, Turbo Gang, Power X People, Black and White, Singles, Urban Dance Crew, Viva All Male, Big Brothers, Manoeuvres, Hotlegs, VIP, and Axis PH.
Together, these dance crews are expected to deliver a nostalgia-filled performance that reflects the style and energy that once defined Philippine dance entertainment.
The evening will also feature front act performances from Janah Zaplan, Klinton Start, Bravo’s Angels, and Sephy Francisco, who will open the show before the main performances begin.
Behind the production
The concert combines retro dance elements with modern stage production, bringing together a team of creatives and production professionals.
Direk Flo Reyes of GMA7 serves as event director, while Miguel Tanchangco handles stage direction. Jimmy Santos leads as creative director and production coordinator, with choreography by Nesh Janiola-Alcantara. The technical team includes Art Adriano as sound engineer and Jeff Namoc in charge of stage design and execution.
By gathering performers, dance groups, and musicians from different eras, Disco Forever (D4E!) aims to celebrate the legacy of disco culture and the artists who helped shape the country’s entertainment landscape.
For many of the performers and audiences alike, the event serves as both a tribute and a reunion — bringing back the rhythm, music, and dance that defined the showstoppers of the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
