Actress Cai Cortez, who also serves as a councilor in Taytay, Rizal, recently visited the Maddox Jewelry showroom in Marikina, owned by founder and president Charo Cordial, after long noticing the shop during her trips to Taytay.
Maddox Jewelry has recently gained attention on social media through its live selling sessions and participation in the online “mine” culture, where thousands of buyers tune in to purchase jewelry pieces known for their elegant designs and accessible pricing.
According to Cai, she had long noticed the shop located along J.P. Rizal Street in Concepcion Uno, Marikina, especially whenever she would pass by on her way to Taytay, where she serves as a councilor. Because of this, she eventually decided to stop by the showroom to see the store for herself.
However, the actress said she did not originally plan to buy anything that day.
As a mother, she shared that she usually prioritizes the needs of her children. If there is any remaining budget, it often goes toward providing assistance to her constituents.
Still, seeing the jewelry pieces in person left a strong impression on her.
Cai said she was impressed that the designs were appealing while the prices of Maddox Jewelry pieces remained affordable.
During her visit, Cai also had an exclusive conversation with Maddox Jewelry founder Charo Cordial, who is also known for her engaging and friendly hosting during the brand’s live selling sessions.
In their discussion, the actress spoke about several personal matters in her life, including her marriage, custody issues, and past controversies that once linked her to actors Baron Geisler and Tom Rodriguez.
