In ‘Sundutan’, two women come to know each other and find a companion and comfort in one another.

Meet Lina (Alisson Ross), a young woman with a dark past who has just moved into a new apartment. In her new home, she notices a hole in the wall above her bed. This hole leads directly into the unit of her neighbors, Mara (Jade Esguerra), a quiet and gentle woman, and her partner Rico (Mark Dionisio), a pawnshop owner.

Through the thin wall, Lina hears every sound, every breath, and every movement from the other unit. She hears Rico’s cruelty and abuse toward Mara. Through the hole in the wall between them, Lina lets Mara feel that she is there for her and that Mara is not alone.

As days go by, the connection between the two women deepens. One night, when Rico threatens Mara again, Lina rushes in to defend the woman who has become important to her. From that incident, they grow closer and get to know each other better. It is also then that they come up with a plan on how Mara can finally break free from Rico.

‘Abot Langit‘ tackles issues of betrayal, jealousy, and power dynamics that a lot of viewers may find relatable.   

Vanne (Aliya Raymundo), who is training to become a flight attendant, gets into a relationship with her co-trainee Patrick (JC Tan). But not long after, she already feels taken for granted by him. Patrick cheats whenever he gets the chance, enjoying sexual relations with Pia (Zel Fernandez), also a fellow trainee. 

Hurt and fed up with Patrick’s perennial cheating, Vanne considers stepping back for a moment and putting their relationship in a cool off stage. As all of this is happening, Vanne is paired with Captain Emil Sevilla (Jio Yoshida), a dashing and confident pilot who shows interest in her.

Follow Vann’s story and see if Emil is the man that will give her the love and loyalty she deserves. Will Patrick be threatened enough to fight for Vann’s love and finally truly commit to her? Or can she just set love aside and reach for her dreams?
