Dina Bonnevie admits past jewelry theft during surprise visit to Maddox Jewelry showroom

It’s not every day that a seasoned actress opens up about a deeply personal loss while casually dropping by a jewelry showroom. But that’s exactly what happened when Dina Bonnevie paid a visit to Maddox Jewelry in Marikina City—a brand she discovered through live selling and vlogs.

The award-winning actress revealed she has been watching the online content of Charo Cordial, the President and Founder of Maddox Jewelry. What started as simple curiosity led to a personal visit to the showroom located along JP Rizal Street in Concepcion Uno.

However, her visit turned into more than just a shopping trip. During her time at the store, Dina shared a shocking story about a painful incident from her past—when her personal jewelry collection was stolen.

She recalled that the theft happened years ago while she was taping her show Ms. D.

“Nag-i-intro ‘ko, then I said, ‘We’ll be right back!’ ” she recalled. “Kasi nakita ko naglalakad ang P.A., nando’n lahat ng alahas ko… pagkalabas niya ng GMA, wala na! Kasabwat niya ang driver—magkamag-anak sila!”

(I was doing the intro, then I said, “We’ll be right back!” I saw a production assistant walking away, and all my jewelry was with them… once they got out of GMA, everything was gone! The driver was involved too—they were relatives!)

Real-life drama straight from a seasoned star!

But that’s not all. Dina also shared that part of her visit was preparation for an upcoming role where she plays a jeweler. Talk about method acting!

Thankfully, Ms. Charo was more than ready to help. She guided Dina on how to distinguish real diamonds from fake ones—proving why she’s becoming one of the most trusted personalities among celebrities when it comes to jewelry and insider knowledge.

The interview has since been gaining massive traction online via Maddox Jewelry’s platforms:
