GUIDE: UPFI Film Center in May 2016

This May 2016, UPFI Film Center of the University of the Philippines Diliman presents a wide range of feature films in time for the Elections season and Mother’s Day. Returning to UP Cine Adarna are the masterpieces of Chito S. Roño, Raymond Red and Lav Diaz. Celebrating womanhood and paying tribute to Mother’s Day are some restored films via ABS-CBN Film Restoration. The two-day Israeli Film Festival will also be featured as presented by the Embassy of Israel to the Philippines. Closing the month are the presentations of Ice Idanan’s sought-after film and a number of Jennylyn Mercado starrers.
