Kuya Germs’ son, Federico Moreno, continues the Master Showman’s legacy by creating a new mobile app called Supershow that aims to discover and help new talents.
The idea came about in early 2018 when Federico was asked by one of his friends to look for a wedding singer. After making some calls, he was not able to find one based from the availability, date and budget they needed. He asked himself, “Why is it so complicated and hard to find one?” That was his “light bulb moment.”
That was how it all started. He began researching through several sectors of the society. Name it! From parents having children’s party needs for clowns and magicians, to castings agents searching for TV commercial models, to wedding planners looking for hosts and performers, to bar owners in need of bands and lounge singers…

The Supershow App emerged as a convenient, reliable, seamless, and easy-to-use means to discover talents.
“This app is one way of continuing my father’s legacy in helping the industry by helping talents get bookings and discovering new ones.” shared Federico.
Anchored by the said dream, he built a goal-oriented team with his very own mentor, Mr. Jose “Jomag” Magsaysay Jr., Chairman Emeritus of Potato Corner.
“At the Supershow App, we cannot wait to connect gifted individuals for the right job/event at the right time and make everyone happy.” explained Jomag.
Later on, Federico was able to get the assistance of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, one of Kuya Germs’ proteges and who is like a brother to him. “Yorme” gladly accepted and collaborated with the team. It is also his way of honoring the late Kuya Germs, whose surname he has been using for his screen name. It is his way of support for undiscovered talents as he reminisces how he went his way up in the entertainment industry.
In the midst of the pandemic, the Supershow App’s mission includes rebuilding and setting new standards in the hard-hit industry Kuya Germs had gifted his whole life to.
By adapting to the new normal, this also paves the way to aid displaced talents who want to get bookings and projects while we are under community quarantine.
The search is on for the app’s pool of new talents who can be a part of the team in time for Kuya Germs’ birth anniversary this October 4. Aspiring talents can now submit video materials (30-60 seconds) by visiting http://www.supershow.app.
To learn more about this momentous project, everyone is invited to visit and like the social media accounts of the Supershow App.
Log on to http://www.supershow.app to get discovered and get booked.
You can start booking talents for events starting November 25.
