‘The Clash’ alumnus Anthony Rosaldo debuts on stage in ‘Ang Huling El Bimbo’

Graduating as a finalist of GMA Network’s all-original reality singing competition ‘The Clash’ back in 2018, Anthony Rosaldo has paved his own path in making a name in showbiz.

Aside from being part of the musical variety comedy show All-Out Sundays, he has done a number of acting stints on GMA. As a Sparkle talent, under the wings of GMA’s talent management arm, Anthony keeps on exploring his capabilities, not just as a singer and performer but also as an actor.

What better way to fuse these talents but by entering the musical theater scene.

Playing among veterans

During his virtual mediacon, Anthony shared how he feels for being among thespians in theater for the hit musical ‘Ang Huling El Bimbo: The Musical’ where he plays one of the leads.

Newport World Resorts’ Full House Theater Company (FHTC) presents this new edition of AHEB, opening on April 21 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Parañaque City.

“I keep up with their energy, their pace… Lahat sa akin ay learning every day,” he said. “Aside from kinakabahan ako every day dahil hindi naman maiiwasan, happy ako dahil marami akong natututunan.”

Grabe yung paghahanda.”

He knows very well that the use of E-Heads songs is a good way to introduce theater as an art to new audiences.
