The long wait is over as SB19 (composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin) finally releases on June 9 its long-awaited second EP entitled PAGTATAG! — a great gift to fans before they even reach their fifth anniversary as a P-Pop boy group.

PAGTATAG! is labelled as SB19’s fresh starts as they enter a “new era highlighted with a more mature and captivating mix of music.” Since their humble beginnings back in 2018, SB19 has continuously shown their journey and improvements in terms of their music and attitudes as artists.

As SB19’s boldest release so far, the six-track EP PAGTATAG! gives audiences a good look at their musical styles and genres that have not been explored. Get ready for strong emotions and firm statements from these six new songs.

GENTO

GENTO places SB19’s bold talent and confidence into the spotlight, highlighting their strength and versatility as a group. The song offers a catchy word play, effortlessly weaving ganito (like this), ginto (gold), and gento, the Caviteño word for ganito. It delivers a powerful message of their growth as a group, after years of refinement—just like gold.

I WANT YOU

SB19 is  bound to turn more heads their way as they confidently slip into the R&B genre and serve listeners a soulful, heart-stuttering new song. This immersive track unveils a deeper dimension of SB19 and puts on display their raw passion and emotions for the world to see. I WANT YOU is a poignant play at one’s aspirations, teasingly within reach. 

As a second treat today, the music video for “I WANT YOU” will drop later this evening. The music video is described as “never seen before” and “more sensual and soulful.”
