Reaping what they sowed from being part of MPJ Entertainment Productions, young artists Sofi Fermazi and Nicky Gilbert officially signed with NET25 Star Center Management, making them part of the growing family of NET25.

The contract signing was held last June 26 at the EVM Convention Center of Eagle Broadcasting Center Building in Quezon City. Sofi and Nicky became part of the Batch 1 of NET25 Star Center Management, consisting of 27 new artists.

Presided by Caesar Vallejos, NET25’s own talent management arm is headed by Direk Eric Quizon with Ms. Ara Mina, and Ms. Wilma Galvante as Production Consultant.

Aside from being a millennial lifestyle host, Sofi’s latest projects include her stint in singing the jingle of Aliw Broadcasting Teleradio’s “Pilipinas Ngayon Na!” She was also selected as one of the Filipino singers to promote the recently-staged Bruno Mars concert.

On the other hand, Nicky juggles her career between hosting events and digital shows and modeling. She became an image model for a bag brand and was also featured as one of the artists who appeared in the network’s Summer Station ID.

How Nicky Gilbert and Sofi Fermazi were discovered

Nicky Gilbert and Sofi Fermazi were first discovered during the workshop facilitated by Gleam Artists Management and MPJ Entertainment Productions, facilitated by actor and director Perry Escaño. The Gleam team discovered that Sofi has talents in singing and acting, while Nicky has potentials in acting, hosting, dancing and has the feature of becoming a professional model. 

Afterwards, Nicky and Sofi underwent all the trainings they needed in acting, dancing, hosting, personality development and singing. MPJ Entertainment Productions also exposed and booked them in live events, ads modeling, and also, television and social media shows. Sofi Fermazi sang the jingle of then-Mayor Isko Moreno during the last Presidential elections and she went viral for it.

Sofi and Nicky were both launched in the midst of entertainment press in August 2022 for their first hosting shows, respectively: Sofi Fermazi as host of Millennials Lifestyle and Nicky Gilbert as host of Simply Exquisite.

In October 2022, they auditioned for the Batch 1 of Star Center Artist Management. Their Gleam team was advised that they passed the audition and that they are among the roster of 27 artists out of 200 who auditioned.
