“This clinic is a collective idea from Roly Dimol, Andrei Altavas, and my brother, Vladimir Camurungan, who saw the growing need for quality orthopedic, spine, and sports physical therapy in the Philippines,” shares actress and entrepreneur Mariz Ricketts, who is also a long-time advocate for physical therapy. “When they shared with us their plans and offered to make us partners, Ronnie and I knew this was an opportunity we couldn’t miss.”

Mariz and Ronnie Ricketts have both personally experienced the benefits of physical therapy. Ronnie, a martial artist and action star, has suffered numerous injuries throughout his career, from recurring back pain to knee trauma due to his work.
“Ronnie’s been into martial arts since he was about five years old,” shared MAriz about her husband. “He used to think he was Superman, but over time, the pain from his injuries started to catch up with him. He eventually realized it was connected to spine trauma.”
For Mariz, physical therapy became a crucial part of her health journey after she was diagnosed with a herniated disc and cervical spondylosis, which caused nerve pain in her arm for an extended period.
“I was told I might need surgery, but my brother said no. We tried physical therapy first, and he patiently treated me. Thankfully, until now, I haven’t needed surgery, and I feel great!”
“We’ve been clients of my brother Vladimir, and eventually Roly, Andrei, and Eugene all became part of our journey to better health,” Mariz added. “That’s why we believe in this so much. Who wouldn’t want to improve their health and achieve the best quality of life?”
