The Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) officially concluded the Awards Night of its inaugural FAMAS Short Film Festival on May 10, 2025, at Greenhills. Powered by REMS Entertainment and led by festival director Gabby Ramos, the event marked a significant milestone in the celebration of emerging voices and creative storytelling in Philippine cinema.
Out of over 500 submitted entries, only 27 short films were selected as official entries.
The awarding ceremony highlighted standout achievements in directing, screenwriting, performance, and technical craftsmanship.

Best Screenplay: Kita Mo ‘To? by Adam Dumaguin
Best Cinematography: Jhonn Bobier, Lance Allen, and Justine Mark Uy for Parapo
Best Editing: Gayle Oblea and Noah del Rosario for As the Moth Flies
Best Music & Sound Design: Glemuel Rigo and Junelle Tecson for Kiyaw
Best Production Design: Harley Alcasid for One Day, Three Autumns
Best Actor: Soliman Cruz for Ang Huling Liham
Best Actress: Mina Cruz for As the Moth Flies
Best Child Performer/Actor: Earl Quintana for Parapo
Best Advocacy Film: Benepisyo by Angelito J. De Guzman
Best Advocacy Film: Hello, Mr. Jenkins by Gian Arre and Flo Reyes
Best Regional Film: Pagtaghoy sa Hangin by Kyle Erika Saycon
Best Documentary Film: No Man Left Behind by Ella Mage and Emir Kahn Bautista
Best Student Film: Kiyaw by Jericho Jeriel Bassig
