Now streaming on the Puregold Channel on YouTube, the new digital series Si Sol at si Luna marks a bold move in Filipino entertainment with its haunting yet heartfelt story of grief, longing, and unexpected love. Top-billed by Zaijian Jaranilla and Jane Oineza, the series officially launched on Saturday, May 31, with visuals and storytelling that elevate the platform’s creative direction.

The debut episode, Babae sa Bus, introduces viewers to Sol, played by Jaranilla, a student filmmaker assigned to create a documentary about something he has never experienced—love. The challenge becomes a turning point for Sol as it leads him to Luna, portrayed by Oineza, whose silent pain reveals a story far deeper than he expected.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Dolly Dulu, the series showcases powerful performances from both lead stars. Jaranilla and Oineza fully embrace their characters, portraying two emotionally complex individuals navigating life’s uncertainties and emotional wounds.

Known for stories that are not only viral hits but also poignantly told, Puregold Channel this time delivers a show that takes cinematic images and intimate storytelling into the digital realm.

Puregold Senior Marketing Manager, Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, expounds on how the series levels up from what Puregold has so far offered. “This is a landmark moment for Filipino entertainment—a bold new chapter in Puregold’s vision of presenting thoughtfully crafted stories that resonate with Filipino audiences. Si Sol at si Luna’s first episode will definitely bring the cinematic experience to a platform that is free and accessible.”

Joining Jaranilla and Oineza in the series is a strong ensemble cast that includes Joao Constancia, Karina Bautista, Cheena Crab, Marnie Lapus, Uzziel Delamide, Lyle Viray, Vaughn Piczon, Jem Manicad, and Atasha Franco.

Don’t miss a single episode of ‘Si Sol at si Luna’, showing on Saturdays on the Puregold Channel on YouTube. Its brilliant cinematography, honest dialogue, and a love story will get you intrigued and hooked right from the start.
