The Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) has unveiled the official nominees for the 8th Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards, also known as The EDDYS—with Green Bones leading the pack at 10 nominations spanning both major and technical categories.

This year’s ceremony will be held on July 20 at the Ceremonial Hall of the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City. A delayed telecast will be shown on Kapamilya Channel and Jeepney TV, while iWantTFC will offer international streaming access beginning July 27.

Coming in strong with six nods each are Hello, Love, Again; Isang Himala; and Outside.

The nominees were revealed on Tuesday, July 1, during a program held at Rampa Bar in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. The event streamed live on PlayTime PH’s Facebook page and featured a performance by Dulce, along with appearances by actor-philanthropist RS Francisco—recipient of this year’s Isah V. Red Award—and Max Eigenmann, Best Actress winner at the 6th EDDYS.

The 8th EDDYS is co-presented by Newport World Resorts and ABS-CBN, produced by Brightlight Entertainment under Pat-P Daza, and directed by Eric Quizon.
